Minors - Coach Pitch Softball (7-9 years old) |   Program Fee: $115.00

The goal of our Coach Pitch program is to help young players transition from batting using a tee in Tee Ball to batting a ball being pitched by a coach. This division will allow players to begin refining their hitting, fielding, and throwing while continuing to learn the rules of baseball. The skill level of the player will be assessed during "League Evaluations" (a day before the first practice where players come out to have coaches gauge their skill set.)

The Coach Pitch Softball Division is for girls and the roster size averages 10-13 players. The season includes 2-3 practices per week with a single game played on weekdays and a single game on a weekday.  Scores are kept in this division, and a continuous batting order is maintained.

WE ARE FAMILY!!
Parent/guardian participation is crucial to the success of the Machine Pitch program. Volunteering is strongly encouraged. Information will be shared during the TCBLL Parent/Guardian Meeting in March.

Minors - Player Pitch Softball (9-11 years old)  |   Program Fee: $115.00

The goal of our Player Pitch program is to help young players transition from hitting pitched by a coach (in Machine Pitch) to batting a ball thrown by an actual player in the same division from the opposing team.  This division will continue to advance the players by refining their hitting, fielding, and throwing while building upon their baseball foundation.

As players continue learning more complex rules of the game, players will begin to explore baseball "situations" and begin to strategize based on their position. Coaches will guide players during practices and games, but the ultimate goal is for players to be able to "think" on their own and apply their baseball knowledge . The skill level of the player will be assessed during "League Evaluations" (a day before the first practice where players come out to have coaches gauge their skill set.)

The Player Pitch Division is co-ed, and the roster size averages 10-13 players. The season includes 2-3 practices per week with a single game played on weekdays and possibly a single game on a weekday and possibly a double-header on the weekend.  Scores are kept in this division, and a continuous batting order is maintained.

In May, players may express an interest to play on the All-Star team which consists of "trying out" for a rostered spot on an advanced team for the league. There is a tryout fee, and there is paperwork to be submitted before being selected for the team. Advancing in the tournament is the goal, so the commitment to summer practices and the commitment to summer games are extremely important. More information will be shared in May when Little League releases tournament dates.
