RULES

We follow the NFHS rules for our cheerleading program. Please make sure your athlete is following the rules below for practices, games and competitions. This is for your athletes safety as well as the safety of others.

Jewelry: ALL jewelry must be taken off before practice starts
If athlete just got a piercing they will need to put tape on it.
Shoes: Athletes should have shoes on at all times, athletes will not stunt if they do not have shoes.
Nails: Athletes nails should not be longer than their finger tips.
If your athlete wants to get their nails done that is fine but they need to be short if they would like to stunt.
For  competitions athletes cannot have painted nails

Cheer Shoes

Athletes will need white cheer shoes to participate in our program in the winter and spring. This is for safety and to keep our mats clean. Cheer shoes should not be worn outside.

For fall athletes can wear black or white shoes. Please keep in mind the track will make them turn black. Please try and find a shoe that has a flat bottom, this is so it doesn't hurt the bases hands when stunting.
