The Poynette Cheer program  provides  girls and boys going into 4K-12th grade the opportunity to cheer at football games and compete against other teams in the state. We are a non-profit organization run by four experienced and passionate coaches. We strive to make sure our athletes learn new skills, have fun all in a safe environment. We offer Football sideline cheer, competitive cheer and an exhibition cheer team, along with working on new skills or improving skills in the spring. 

The Poynette Cheer program wants to ensure that our athletes are safe as well as having fun in their sport. We want to teach our athletes good sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership and life skills in an encouraging atmosphere while developing a strong character, positive attitude and responsibility.  We want to help the athletes build positive goals, dreams and values.
