NOBLE YOUTH SOFTBALL/BASEBALL

PITCH COUNT Rest GUIDELINES - Baseball

Noble uses the Pitch Smart guidelines help young players reduce arm injuries for safe pitching practices. Baseball is a safe game to play at all ages, but research has shown that pitching too much -- particularly at a young age -- can increase a pitcher's risk of injury. Cal Ripken Tournament Pitch Rest Requirements

For Noble's end of rec season tournament the use of Cal Ripken's Tournament pitch counts rules apply. This allows more pitches on less rest. This is approved as the players will have extended rest as the season ends. These can also be found in the Babe Ruth Rule book.
