Our goal as a youth baseball organization is to create a safe environment where all players can learn and enjoy the game of baseball while treating each other, coaches, umpires and spectators with respect.
This letter will serve as a written reminder that Noble Youth Baseball has a zero-tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct.
As players of Noble Youth Baseball are expected to:
•Not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent, such as booing and/or taunting, refusing to shake hands, or using profane language.
•Not confront or show disrespect for coaches or umpires at any time during practices and games.
•Understand that verbal assault and/or intimidation of players, coaches, umpires, and other parents will not be tolerated, and is subject to ejection from the field premises.
• Never speak or act in a disrespectful, demeaning or unsportsmanlike manner towards any player, official, coach, manager or spectator.
•Understand that there is zero tolerance for any form of physical assault. Any such actions will result in my immediate ejection from the field premises, and further disciplinary action.
• Not use an objectionable demonstration of dissent at an official’s decision by throwing gloves, helmets, hats etc.
• Respect the umpire’s authority.
• Never use unnecessarily rough tactics in the play of a game against the body of an opposing player.
• Refrain from using any profane, obscene or vulgar language or gesture(s) in any manner, at any time.

In order to create an environment where all players are able to learn and enjoy the game of baseball, the Noble Youth Baseball organization would like to remind all coaches, volunteers and spectators of our general code of conduct.
All coaches, volunteers and spectators are expected to:
•Encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support at all times for the game that is being played.
•Always be mindful that this is the experience of the players, teams and opponents you are there to support.
•Not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or parent, such as booing and/or taunting, refusing to shake hands, or using profane language.
•Remember that doing one's best is more important than winning.
•Respect the officials and their authority during games.
•Not confront coaches or managers at any time during practices and games.
•Refrain from coaching your players or other players during games.
•Not smoke and/or use smokeless tobacco on game or practice fields or within the sight of any participants.
•Abstain from possession of alcoholic beverages, marijuana and or use of any illegal substance at practices and/or games. The odor of alcohol or marijuana on any person(s) is also prohibited.
•Understand that verbal assault and/or intimidation of players, coaches, umpires, and other parents will not be tolerated, and is subject to ejection from the field premises.
•Understand that there is zero tolerance for any form of physical assault. Any such actions will result in my immediate ejection from the field premises, and further disciplinary action. Anyone who violates these rules is subject to disciplinary action levied by NYB that could include, but is not limited to: verbal and/or written warning, ejection from games, or indefinite suspension from league activities.
Each complaint against the Code of Conduct is reviewed by the NYB Board but only the board of directors shall make the final decision regarding game suspensions of players after meeting following the Suspension Guidelines within the by-laws.
