Lehigh County Commissioner:
...the Diocese of Allentown has informed the Deanery commissioners for CYO that the 2020 Spring Season will be cancelled outright and no further CYO activities or meetings shall be held. This includes any teams in Softball / Baseball / Volleyball/ Soccer/ Golf leagues not affiliated with CYO but sponsored out of a parish or school or uses any affiliated facilities under the insurance of Catholic Mutual and the Diocese of Allentown.
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our youth, coaches, facilities and our families as we continue to work together to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus.
I will continue to be in contact with the diocese office of Youth in regards to how if any affect this may have on our fall seasons.
