Bellingham Youth Baseball

Have you ever thought about being an Ump?

At BYBI, we are proud of the youth umpires who ump the games in our younger leagues. It is great experience for them to learn the game and gain a leadership role, plus they earn money enjoying America's favorite pastime. The registrants take a five-week class and must pass a test in order to be a BYBI umpire. In order to be a BYBI umpire, one must be at least a 'baseball age' of 13 while also playing in our Spring 2020 season in the Senior League.

The classes will be taught by Umpire Director Ken Sarnie. These classes are free.

The classes are Sunday nights from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Community Room at the Bellingham Police Station on Blackstone St., Bellingham on March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22 and March 29. Please email Ken Sarnie at [email protected] to register and bring the form below filled out to the first class.

Get started on earning money down at the baseball fields!
