Program Differences

We'll start at the foundation.

Our youngest age group are U3 (Under 3 year olds). These children can play in our Development Academy Jrs. (DA Jrs.) program or our School Programs. DA Jrs. are lead by Virginia Beach City FC Staff and practice in the evening. The School Programs are lead by VB City FC staff and hosted at the school.

Next we have our Recreation Level. This offers and introduction at the lowest level of the sport. This is a volunteer lead program.

Following will be our Development Academy (DA) who will pave the way to join the Full Year Academy. These children want to play at a high level with professional coaches.

The next group can break into two sections. The lower will be our Academy Lite/Advance which is volunteer based and play in local leagues.

Above that is the Full Year Academy (FYA). This is for the highest level of youth soccer. These children want to play at a competitive level with professional coaches. Their goal may be to play in college, professionally, or work in sports.

The top of the pyramid would be the professional team. These adults are older than 16 and playing against other professionals. They are the goal for the most advanced players.

Camps and Clinics can be at various levels. Staff will cater to the need of the participants with these programs.
