Baseball Overview
The following leagues are offered at OLPH 1&2 grade girls and boys (coach pitch) and 3&4 grade girls and boys (kid pitch). Team size 10 - 18 players.  The coach determines practice days and times.  Practices are usually held twice a week and games are held on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday.  Makeup games are held on the Saturday following the rainout.  The limit for games is 1 hour 15 minutes.  
Boys: bases are 60 feet apart.  The pitcher is 42 feet from home plate. RIF #5 balls are used all bats that say "Little League Approved" and "Not for High School Use" are acceptable bats. Girls: Bases are 55 feet apart. #11 green dot balls are used.

Equipment needed: baseball glove (please put name on glove) baseball or athletic shoe. Uniforms, bats, balls, helmets are provided by the league.
