Baseball/Softball Overview
The following leagues are offered at OLPH 5th&6th and 7th&8th grade boys baseball and 5th&6th and 7&8 grade girls softball.  The team size will consist of a minimum of 9 maximum of 18 players.  5th&6th grade play a maximum of 5 innings and 7th&8th graders play a maximum of 6 innings.
Boys: bases are 66 feet apart; the pitcher shall be 66 feet from home plate in 5th&6th grade. In 7th&8th bases are 81 feet apart; the pitcher shall be 56 feet from home plate. Girls:bases are 60 feet apart; the pitcher shall be 35 feet from home plate in 5th&6th grade.  In 7th&8th bases are 60 feet apart; the pitcher shall be 40 feet from home plate.
Equipment needed:  Baseball shoes and glove. Uniforms, helmets, balls and bats are provided by the league.

Athletes in 5th-8th grade must complete a PAA Health Form in order to participate in PAA league sports
