PAL Center Program Information

2022 Summer Registration

¨ Program Dates:          Monday-Friday  9 am-4 pm

¨ PAL is CLOSED when Baltimore County Public Schools are closed for inclement weather.

¨ Reminders: 1.  The PAL program is a DROP-IN center with LIMITED SUPERVISION.

2.  Education hour is MANDATORY.

3.  Snacks are welcome.

4.  Students will NOT be allowed to use the microwave.

5.  Snack machines are available for students’ use after programming.

6.  The PAL center’s telephone is for EMERGENCY use only.

7.  Bubble gum and sunflower seeds are NOT allowed.

8.  The PAL center’s staff is not responsible for electronic devices (cell       phones, iPods, MP3 players, handheld games).

¨ Field Trips are a privilege.  Only students displaying good behavior in the PAL Center will be allowed to participate in field trips.  All field trips are first come, first served.

¨ ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP ON TIME - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Should you require special accommodations (i.e. sign language interpreter, large print, etc.,) please call 410-887-5309 or Therapeutic Office 410-887-5370, TT/Deaf 410-887-5319. These programs are designed to provide a healthy and enjoyable leisure experience for your child. However, they are not designed to provide child care. Therefore, parents are encouraged to discuss attendance expectations with their children. Department staff cannot detain youth wishing to leave at any time.
