Resident Camp:  Grades 6-12     July 28-31, 2025

The Messiah Women's Soccer Resident  Camp is for field players in grades 6 -12 who are interested in and committed to improving their technical and tactical skills in the game of soccer.  Training sessions are developed to provide players, no matter their current level of play and experience, with tools (skills), ideas (tactics), and concepts (team agreements) to enhance their game.  

The camp structure combines 6th and 8th graders in training and games while 9th - 12th graders are grouped in the senior section of camp. The daily schedule includes a morning session that presents essential technical and tactical aspects of the game incorporated with small sided games and competition.  The afternoon session is a signature aspect of Messiah soccer camps known as "Ladder Games".  A competitive and fun game that incorporates the ideas and skills taught in the morning session along with developing team work and team dynamics.  The evening session will provide the camper the opportunity to use the skills learned during the day.  This provides their coaches the opportunity to help them understand and implement their training into the larger game. League games are played where standings are kept and play-offs are conducted at the end of the week.

The coaching staff is comprised of college and high school coaches along with former and current players who have a great understanding of how we desire to teach the game of soccer here at Messiah.  We desire to not only provide each camper with a knowledgeable and qualified coach but also a coach that will teach the game in a positive manner and treat your child with appreciation and respect.

The facilities available at Messiah's Residents Camp are among the best available.  Five well kept and prepared grass practice fields.  Two synthetic turf fields to help provide space in case of rain. All the dorm rooms are air conditioned and sheets, blankets, towels, and pillows are provided.  Meals are provided in Lottie Nelson dining hall and are always noted as one of the highlights of each campers experience.  

A commuter option is available for the Residents Camp.
