ABOUT THE WEST ALLEGHENY YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION

The West Allegheny Youth Soccer Association (WAYSA) is a recreational youth soccer club located approximately 15 miles west of downtown Pittsburgh, PA, offering in-house programs for age-groups between U6 and U18 and travel programs for U10 to U18.

WAYSA is one of one hundred and thirty clubs chartered under Pennsylvania West State Soccer Association (PA West Soccer), a member of the National State Association of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Competitive Seasons Sessions are typically held twice a year across fall (September - October) and spring seasons (March - May) and are run by volunteers.

Player Requirements
Size 3 ball for U6 and U8 / Size 4 ball for U10
REQUIRED – Shin guards (these should be covered entirely by socks) Soccer cleats are recommended but not required
Water bottle
Children should dress appropriately for the weather
Players will wear the reversible red/white jersey for the games (white - home and red - away) and can wear any color shorts and shirts for the practices.
