Birth year registration is determined by the year a soccer season ends.  An age group can be determined by subtracting the birth year from the year the season ends.

Year Season Ends – Birth Year = Age Group
2022 to 2023 – 2015 = U8
2022 to 2023 – 2014 = U9
2022 to 2023 – 2013 = U10

Please note that you can sign up seasonally for the Rush Wisconsin West Academy. However, the players that register for the fall will have first choice to retain their roster spots for the spring. Players that sign up for the full year will receive a discount.

Fall Season: Mid August - Early November

Training

• Monday @ 5:30-6:45 pm (girls)
• Tuesday @ 5:30-6:45 pm (boys)
• Wednesday @ 5:30-6:45 pm (girls)
• Thursday @ 5:30-6:45 pm (boys)

League Play

• League placement is oriented to maximize player development in an appropriate level and learning environment for the players. 
• Teams will either be registered in local leagues (Southwest Classic League) with travel not expected to exceed 45 minutes from La Crosse or registered in MAYSA (Madison Area Youth Soccer Association).
  

Tournaments

• 1 away tournament (in-state)
• 1 home tournament - October 14-16, 2022 @ La Crosse, WI
  

Winter Season: Mid November - Mid March

• 2-4 optional trainings per week with paid certified coaching staff
• Winter is focused on the individual and players are not penalized for missing trainings.
• We encourage our players to play other winter sports.
• Winter training is on a drop in schedule - come to as many as you wish
• Optional winter indoor futsal tournament
• Not included in registration cost
  

Spring Season: Mid March - Mid June

Training

• 2 training sessions per week

League Play

• League placement is oriented to maximize player development in an appropriate level and learning environment for the players. 
• Teams will either be registered in local leagues (Southwest Classic League) with travel not expected to exceed 45 minutes from La Crosse or registered in MAYSA (Madison Area Youth Soccer Association).
  

Tournaments

• 1-2 tournaments, both in-state or within 3 hours

Program Fees

• $600 for fall and spring seasons combined (after $50 discount for year-round registration)
• Seasonal registration is available for the Academy program (Fall $325 / Winter $150 / Spring $325). 
• Players that register for the fall will have first choice to retain their roster spots for the spring.
• Multiplayer family discounts will be applied during fall registration - second and third players will receive $35 off each.

• Pay in full
• Pay $75 down & balance paid out over 4 additional payments plus a processing fee of $10.

Volunteer Requirements 

• 4 hours required of volunteer service per season.  Fall and spring are considered different seasons for Academy players.
• $200 buyout option (subject to change before tryouts)
  

Additional Fees

• Uniform: Fall 2022 is year 2 of the 2-year Rush uniform cycle so ALL NEW Rush WI West players will purchase home and away uniforms. Estimated price is $180 for youth sizes and $190 for adult sizes (price is for both kits). Each kit includes 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, and 2 pairs of socks. The uniform set will be worn through the spring/summer 2023 season.
• Travel expenses for away games and tournaments are not included in the academy registration fee.
