11U-12U tryouts for our Iowa Rush Select Program will provide a setting in which players are able to try out Iowa Rush as a club. While our staff will certainly be evaluating players throughout the tryout period, one of our main priorities is to get to know each player by name and build a relationship. There will be no numbered shirts or coaches with clipboards writing notes and disconnecting themselves from their relationships with the players.
In essence, tryouts for our 11U-12U teams will be an extension of the spring training season with all new players getting to participate in 3 training sessions. These sessions will give players and families a view of what to expect in a typical training session during the Select Program year.
All Iowa Rush Select Program teams will be coached by the Iowa Rush Coaching Staff and coaching assignments will be announced before bid days on June 16th (11-13U) and June 23rd (14-19U).
