Welcome to 5U-8U Rush Soccer!

5U-8U Rush Soccer are seasonal opportunities for all young people to fall in love with the game of soccer. We are focused on developing young people through the game of soccer. Groups are separated by age group and every player is afforded the same opportunities as the next in our player first, team second approach to training.

Winter Offerings

Fall in Love With the Ball Virtual Camps

The idea behind these camps are to provide an environment in which, even though all participants will be practicing within the comfort of their own home, each child will be led by our Iowa Rush staff and have the chance to see themselves and their friends performing their skills on Zoom! Our intent is to help ignite a love of the ball in a manner that kids will find safe, enjoyable, and easy!

7U-8U Rush Soccer Training

Iowa Rush Technical Staff lead small groups of players through a range of activities that help develop players' ability to move and share the ball. Practice activities are designed to be age-appropriate and provide a desirable level of challenge for players.

We believe young players build competency on the ball by spending time with the ball. This competency builds confidence and enjoyment when in the training environment. We train and play games at Prairie Ridge Soccer Complex in Ankeny. Your only travel will be to the home fields that your child will know and love. Parents are a large part of the child’s development on the field. Learning what we are teaching and why, then supporting us through positive reinforcement and letting your child know that you love watch them play is very important. We want to help you help your player. Every player regardless of age, gender, or ability level has the same access to training sessions, matches, and coaching. Every player is valued at Rush Soccer

5U-8U Rush soccer is the heart of Iowa Rush as we follow our mission and accept the responsibility of teaching life lessons to our athletes to further their growth inside the game and out, through our core-values.
