Save Beale Park

We all know how important youth sports are. Youth athletes get more exercise, as well as maintain better health and discipline than children who do not participate in sports. Athletics help kids build confidence in their abilities, encourages teamwork and exposes them to new relationships. Due to the numerous technological distractions accessible to kids today, it is more important than ever to make sure they can get outside and play sports.

Smithfield Recreation Association (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) has been providing youth baseball and softball at Beale Park in Smithfield for over 50 years. Unfortunately, our longtime home of Beale Park is in danger of being sold unless we can raise $30,000 a year (for 10 years) to pay off the property lien. The Save Beale Park Committee is working with SRA to help raise the funds necessary to keep our recreational assets in the hands of our loving community.

Beale Park is becoming more and more vital to SRA as our registration numbers continue to increase each season.

This is where we need your assistance.

We would like your help by becoming a Beale Park [Silver, Gold or Platinum] Donor with your contribution of [$250, $500 or $1000]. Any and all donations will be gladly accepted and greatly appreciated. Donations should be made payable to the Smithfield Recreation Association, with Save Beale Park in the memo line. If you would like to make a donation, please contact me using the contact info at the bottom of this form. Donations can also be dropped off at Craig Stallings & Associates at 210 Main St. Craig Stallings and I will be working as a team to maintain a ledger documenting every donation. This way we may return donations should we fail to meet our yearly financial responsibility. All donations are tax deductible.
