EQUIPMENT / UNIFORMS
TACKLE FOOTBALL:
The Novi Bobcats pride themselves in keeping our football players safe while teaching the game of football. Every season, our football helmets are sent out to be re-conditioned and inspected for any damage that would deem them unacceptable by the organization. The football player's shoulder pads and fully padded (integrated) football pants are replaced regularly to ensure the utmost protection is available.
The Bobcats provide each player with a helmet and chin strap, shoulder pads, integrated football pants, a practice jersey, and a game jersey. All items must be returned to the Bobcats at the end of each season - with exception to the game jersey, which each tackle football player is allowed to keep.
A $200 equipment deposit check (made out to Novi Bobcats) will be collected at each team's scheduled equipment/uniform pick-up. One check will be required for each football player and each cheerleader. No equipment/uniforms will be distributed without an equipment deposit check. No exceptions! The equipment deposit checks will not be cashed, but rather held for the duration of the season and returned to the owner when all borrowed equipment/uniforms are returned in good, used condition. Please note that if any borrowed item is altered in any way, that player's equipment deposit check will not be returned (this includes cutting practice jerseys).
Players must provide their own mouth guard (with strap), athletic cup, girdle/jock strap, socks and football cleats.
FLAG FOOTBALL:
Even with our youngest football players, the Novi Bobcats strive to keep them safe while teaching the game of football. Flag football players will be provided with a padded flag helmet, a belt with flags, and a game jersey. All equipment must be returned at the end of the season.
A $100 equipment deposit check (made out to Novi Bobcats) will be collected at the flag football's scheduled equipment/jersey pick-up. No equipment/jerseys will be distributed without an equipment deposit check. No exceptions! The equipment deposit checks will not be cashed, but rather held for the duration of the season and returned to the owner when all borrowed equipment/jerseys are returned in good, used condition. Please note that if any borrowed item is altered in any way, that player's equipment deposit check will not be returned.
CHEER:
The Bobcats will provide each cheerleader with a full uniform including a bodysuit, briefs and a bow (subject to change). The skirt and shell must be returned at the end of the season as well as any specialty bodysuits. You may not alter the uniforms in any manner and must follow all laundering instructions.
Cheerleaders are responsible for buying their own cheer shoes, poms, warmup jacket and head warmer.
Optional items to purchase include an equipment bag.
