Concussion Symptoms
- Symptoms vary from person to person and may not show up for hours or days. These include:
- Headache
- Confusion
- Memory loss
- Dizziness
- Sluggish, Groggy, or Foggy
- Feeling irritable or emotionally down
- Nausea or vomiting
- Blurry or Double vision
- Slowed reaction time
- Loss of consciousness
Why should I report my symptoms ?
- Playing or practicing with a concussion is dangerous and can lead to delay in recovery and returning to play
- While the brain is healing, it is much more likely to sustain another concussion and long term problems
- In rare cases, repeat concussions can cause brain swelling, permanent brain damage and even death
