DJ joins Rush Wisconsin West as Technical Director in 2021 after moving from Iowa Rush, where he served for a year as the Head Goalkeeping Coach and an assistant in the senior girls program.  His coaching career, which began in 2012, has led him through clubs in Minnesota like STMA United and the Minnesota Thunder Academy as a head coach, before eventually moving to Iowa and landing a position in the Rush organization.

DJ graduated from Chicago's Moody Bible Institute in 2014, where he played goalkeeper and won three national championships. Alongside coaching, he has worked in full-time ministry since graduating, serving as a youth pastor and worship director at churches in Minnesota, California, and Iowa. He is working toward his Master's in Soccer Coaching from Ohio University, which he began in 2021, and currently holds a USSF C License, along with the Advanced National and Goalkeeping Diplomas from United Soccer Coaches.

DJ has been married to his wife, Kristen, since 2015, and they have an amazing 3 year old son named Asher who will hopefully be lighting up the local soccer scene in a few years time.
