REGISTRATION:
Cheer Registration will open beginning of 2026 and close on May 1st this year!
With the new addition of Competition Uniforms, all cheerleaders must be registered by May 1st and sized in order to compete during the month of October.

Our Tiny Falcons Team (4-5 years old/Pre-K and Kindergarten) will be the only team with a maximum number of athletes eligible for the team.

Team placement is determined by grade/age by Cheerleading Commissioner. Due to competition rules and the time that will be needed to order uniforms, no exceptions will be made to our registration process.

REGISTRATION FEE:
Our Registration Fee is $150 this season!

Cheer Registration fee will cover: Competition music and fees, makeup, cheer socks, a game day and competition bow, end of the year award and memorabilia item and 1 banquet ticket. Payment Plans are available this season on our website!
Full payment must be received before July 1st to participate!

Our Tiny Falcons Team will cost $100 to register for the season!

VOLUNTEER FEE:
Our Volunteer Fee is increasing this season due to increased demand for volunteers!
Parents will not be charged the volunteer fee when completing registration online. Instead, we will be collecting a $100 check from parents at the first Parents Meeting of the season in July.

As a reminder, this fee is refundable and payment will be returned once you have volunteered!
Parents can volunteer in the concession stand during a home Football Game or at the NEYSA Fall Festival League Cheerleading Competition to qualify for their refund!

This organization is run on volunteers and we appreciate truly all help that is received throughout the season! The more volunteers we receive each season at fundraisers and home games, the more our coaches attention stays solely on our athletes!

UNIFORMS:
ALL participants are required to attend our uniform fitting the first weekend of May (2nd &3rd)!
Cheerleaders will only need to attend one date to be sized for competition uniforms, game day uniforms, and cheerwear.
All New Cheerleaders will be required to purchase a warm up and sneakers through our distributor, along with a black turtleneck bodyliner.

We will also have Spirit Stores open throughout the season with optional items for all athletes! These items may include: Gloves/Ear Muffs, Rain coats, Practice Attire, etc.

If you have any additional ideas, please feel free to share them with us!

PRACTICE:
Practice for all teams are expected to begin towards the end of July.
Our first week of practice will be focused on conditioning and skills.
All teams practice outdoors (behind ETMS) July/August and indoors (at Colonial Village) for September & October.
During August, the teams practice 4 nights a week (Monday-Thursday) from 6-8pm.
Once school starts, teams practice 3 times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and have a game Saturday OR Sunday.

Our Tiny Falcons Team will practice 3 days a week leading up to Peach Festival, then practice Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6-8PM until the end of the season!

An absence policy will be provided in the weeks to come, please keep in mind that registering your child guarantees them a spot on the team, and therefore in our routines. Excessive absence affects the entire team, especially the stunt group, so it cannot be tolerated.
If your athlete misses a practice prior to a game or competition, they may be pulled from the upcoming event at the discretion of the cheerleading coordinator and head coach.

GAMES:
Games are Saturday OR Sunday starting the last weekend of August, once we have a schedule we will send it home with your athlete immediately! Game schedules are usually available within the first few weeks of August.
If our football players are on the field, we expect our cheerleaders to be on the sidelines.
Temperatures for games vary throughout the season, to make sure each cheerleader is comfortable in the weather, we will give you a game day checklist with gear required for all occasions!
All cheerleaders are expected to wear the same uniform for each event, please be mindful of this!

2026 COMPETITIONS
All of our teams will participate in competition! This upcoming season we will participate in 4-5 local competitions, including Peach Festival, the NEYSA Fall Festival, the Elite Heat All-Stars Hot Cheer Championships, and the UB Spirit Challenge!

Tiny Falcons will be attending Peach Festival and the NEYSA Fall Festival Competition this season!

We are considering sending our cheerleaders back to the NYS Recreational Cheer Championships again this season! This competition takes place in November. If we send our Falcons to this competition, we will fundraise during the season to assist families with the cost of travel and lodging!

FUNDRAISER/SPONSORSHIP:
NWAA Cheer will hold fundraisers throughout the year/season, these fundraisers will directly help with the purchase of new uniforms and equipment.
Sponsorship signage around the field on game day is also available and helps to defer the costs of operations and events.
All of our Sponsors will also receive ads on all of our social media pages and be included in our yearbook!

If you or someone you know are interested in sponsoring our 2026 Cheer Season, please reach out to Ally Knuutila Alverson at (716)946-6998!
