Thank you to our 2025 Game Table Sponsor Local 91!

Today, Laborers’ Local #91 still provides materials to brick masons, but has expanded into a workforce that provides signatory contractors with highly trained laborers in the areas of asbestos removal, hazardous materials abatement, paving roads and runways, pipe installation, as well as bridge and building construction. Through their partnership with these contractors, our members have helped complete projects in Niagara County on time and under budget that include the Niagara Hydro-Electric Power Generating Station, the AES Somerset Electric Generating Station, the Seneca Niagara Hotel and Casino, and the Yahoo Data Center located outside of Lockport, NY. Our collective bargaining agreements coupled with our focus on training have helped our members earn family supporting pay, good benefits, and the ability to work and retire with dignity.

We are a proud affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) which represents more than 800,000 workers in the construction trades, factories, hospitals and many other workplaces. Together we offer education and training to provide a workforce that is qualified to represent our progressive, diverse and effective union.

Thank you to our 2025 Black Jack Sponsor Mazzu Law!

Edward T. Mazzu, is a trial lawyer and the founding member of Mazzu Law. Since its launch in 2020, Mazzu Law has quickly spread its reach from Buffalo, to New York City, and now to a third location in Dallas. After 10 years working as a union ironworker, having worked on hundreds of construction sites from New York to Las Vegas, he was seriously injured in a construction accident that left him unable to continue as an ironworker.

Determined not to be defined by his injuries, he set out on a new path helping others overcome adversity and rebuild their lives after a serious injury. He went back to school at age 30 and completed and associates, bachelor’s, and a law degree in just 5 years. In doing so, he transformed himself into a litigator with an unmatched ability to handle construction injury cases — The Ironworker Lawyer.

With decades of combined experience in construction and civil litigation, he delivers an unparalleled dynamic that gives his clients an edge in the courtroom. His unique perspective and knowledge of the construction industry, sets Mazzu Law apart from other injury law firms, especially when it comes to construction injury cases.
