About Sunset Youth Baseball

The Sunset Apollo Baseball Club (SABC) is a volunteer organization responsible for raising funds to support the Sunset High School and Youth baseball programs. SABC, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2004 with the goal to support the Sunset High School Spring and Summer Baseball Programs. Funds raised through these efforts make it possible for our coaches and athletes to compete at the highest level. These efforts include: purchasing additional baseball equipment for the High School, funding necessary field improvements, subsidizing team trips and providing scholarships for High School student athletes in need.

Sunset Youth Baseball (SYB) was formed as a sub-committee of SABC, and is focused solely on serving the Youth in the Sunset Baseball community. Sunset Youth Baseball's mission is to emulate the High School program, both on and off the field.

While SABC and Sunset Youth Baseball operate separately, we have the shared goal to provide an environment that promotes excellence in the classroom and on the playing field. Together we use the game of baseball as a means to educate and promote the qualities necessary to succeed in life. Our goal is for all players to achieve their full potential while also learning valuable life lessons from their Sunset Baseball experience.
