How much does it cost?
The 2026 Fall Season registration fee is $250.00. Take advantage of our Early Bird Special and register for just $175 through June 12, 2026! The Early Bird price will automatically appear in your cart once you begin the registration process.
Equipment, Fundraising, and Volunteer Deposit
Uniforms and equipment are property of the Milford Jr. Spartans and they are loaned to athletes for use during the season. In addition, the success of our program depends on all families fulfilling their fundraising and volunteer requirements throughout the season.
To simplify this process, each athlete is required to submit one post-dated deposit check in the amount of $500 prior to the start of the season. This single deposit check will cover:
The $500 deposit check must be submitted to the appropriate Board Member before an athlete will be permitted to participate.
Once all equipment/uniform items have been returned, fundraising requirements have been fulfilled, and volunteer hours have been completed, the deposit check will be shredded.
If any of the following obligations are not completed by the end of the season, the $500 deposit check may be deposited:
- Equipment or uniforms are not returned by December 15 (unless the team is still participating in playoffs or competitions, or arrangements have been approved by the Equipment Director)
- Fundraising requirements are not fulfilled
- Volunteer hour requirements are not fulfilled
If the deposit check is deposited due to unmet obligations, funds will not be refunded after the deposit has been made.
*Our goal is not to deposit any checks, but rather for all families to successfully complete their program obligations and support the organization throughout the season.*
What items do I need to purchase for the season?
Prior to the start of the season, please ensure your athlete has the following:

- Cleats
- Mouth Guard (with strap)
- Water Bottle - Must bring every practice/game

Where and when do practices take place?
Practices start the first week of August at Keyes Field. We practice at the West entrance (127 Elm St.).
Specific team schedules will be provided prior to the beginning of the season.
Does my athlete need to attend every practice?
Yes! The first 3 weeks of summer will be conditioning. It is important that athletes are at every practice. If you must miss a practice, please reach out to your head coach as early as possible.
What is required of parents?
Milford Jr Spartans have no employees. Like most youth non profit programs, it's 100% volunteer driven. Parents are required to volunteer and fundraise in order to make the year a successful season. We highly encourage parent involvement.
