Parkland Youth Center is excited to offer multiple sports to our youth.  Please ensure you are registered for our website to get the latest information and know when registration opens for every sport. 

Typical registration time frames (may vary):
Baseball - Spring: January - March; Fall June - July
Softball - Spring: January - March; Fall June - July
Basketball: October - November
Flag football - Fall: May - July; Spring: TBD

If any questions about a particular sport please reach out to the president or the commissioner of the sport, all contact info can be located in 'About Us' section. 

 In accordance with PYC league policy, NO REFUNDS will be given if there is a roster spot for
your child to play.  Please ensure you read all items clearly prior to signing up.

August 2024 Iron Pigs Baseball Game

Join us August 8th @ 7:05pm as the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs take on the SWB Railriders @ Coca-Cola Park in Allentown. Player(s) will be selected for the pre-game Home Run Derby, first pitch opportunity (selected at random), team will be recognized, and opportunity to go on the field with the Lehigh Valley Iron Pig team.

Cost per ticket is $12, include $2 ballpark credit.

All registration and money is due NLT July 20th.

2024 Fall Baseball

Our teams (Grasshopper and above) will play in the Parkland Youth League .

Age eligibility for all coach pitch and kid pitch leagues can be seen below (please be sure to double-check your selection!):
Fall 2024 Eligibility Rules:
T-Ball – Birthdates on or after May 2, 2017
8u Grasshopper – Birthdates between May 2, 2014 and May 1, 2016
10u Biddy – Birthdates between May 2, 2014 and May 1, 2016
12u Midget – Birthdates between May 2, 2012 and May 1, 2014
Knee-Hi – Birthdates between May 2, 2009 and May 1, 2012

Players outside the birthdate ranges above may not play down at a lower level, however if any players are interested and capable of playing up, this can be arranged. Contact the baseball commissioner at [email protected] for additional information.

Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are always needed and welcome for a variety of tasks within the organization. Assistance, education, and a mentoring program will be provided for all new coaches to ensure your teams have a fun, safe, and successful season!

2024 Fall Softball

Parkland Youth Center (PYC) offers recreation softball starting as young as 5 through age 19 and competitive tournament softball for girls in middle school and high school.

PYC Softball participates in the Eastern Pennsylvania Girls Softball League (EPGSL). PYC offers a fall season and spring season for softball. Fall is an opportunity to develop for your spring season.

Players outside the birthday ranges may not play down a level, however is any players are interested and capable of playing up, this is encouraged. Softball offers the older girls to play on multiple teams to be exposed to more opportunity.

2025 Tournament Softball

Parkland Youth Center (PYC) offers tournament softball starting at age 13 through age 19 for girls. PYC tournament team participates in primarily USSSA tournaments. Tournament are held on weekends from May through end of July. PYC will offer winter workouts for all PYC players.

Saturday tournament play is typically 3-4 games, and Sunday play is play till you lose. By signing up for PYC Tournament Softball you are committing to attend all tournaments for the season. Schedule will be out early February for those who have registered.

All players will receive 2 jerseys, if needing both, as well as visor, belt, and socks as part of their registration. Players will be provided website to purchase their own pants.

Registration costs cover tournament fees, umpires fees, uniform fees, equipment fees, field costs, and winter workout fees.

Costs: Cost to play is $450, deposit of $200 is due by October 1, 2024, remaining balance of $250 will be due by March 1, 2025. Girls will have the opportunity to fundraise, the fundraising will go towards the second payment.

PYC will unfortunately not sponsor players for tournament ball, all have an opportunity to reduce cost through fundraising.
