PYC (Parkland Youth Center) is excited to announce we are offering our second flag football season in the Spring of 2025!

In addition to our Baseball, Basketball, and Softball sports, we are thrilled to continue offering Flag Football to our families and kids. Flag Football is a fantastic opportunity for your sons and daughters to learn and play the sport of football without the concerns that tackle football may bring.

PYC Flag Football will be a 5-v-5 version, with no offensive/defensive lines, similar to NFL flags. Like our other sports, we will be coordinating our games with SPYA, and games will take place at either Grange or Fernwood Parks. Most games will be played on Saturdays, with some Sunday and weeknight games mixed in throughout the season.

Each player will receive a PYC Flag Football jersey and flags with their registration. The season will include 8 games followed by playoffs. Practices will begin in mid-March and will be held at Kratzer and Fernwood Parks.

Age levels for Spring 2025:

U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18
(Ages as of April 1, 2025)

All age levels are co-ed and open to all boys and girls regardless of experience.

Registration is now open and may be capped depending on the number of coaches we have. No experience is necessary to coach. We will assist you with creating practice schedules, drills, and plays tailored for teaching kids at each age level. The more head coaches we have, the smaller we can make the rosters. Head coaches choose their practice days and times.

Please ensure all registration information is completed accurately. Team rosters will be built with the goal of creating competitive balance across all age levels. While we do our best to accommodate requests, they are not guaranteed.

For any questions, please reach out to: [email protected].

In accordance with PYC league policy, NO REFUNDS will be given if there is a roster spot available for your child to play.
