Format
Players will learn to play baseball on a small field focusing on learning positions, fielding, throwing and hitting both coach pitching and kid pitching. Kid pitching will begin the mid-way thru the season and will be alternated with innings of all coach pitching.  Pitchers will be limited to one inning per game and a maximum of 5 pitches per batter and 5 batters per inning (total maximum of 25 pitches per game).  There are no strikes or walks with coaches taking over after 5 pitches.  All players should learn the standard nine positions defensively. Games are used for instructional purposes and play may be stopped from time to time to provide coaching to players on either team. Two Managers and Coaches will be on the field of play. Runs and game scores are not counted and there are no standings or end of season playoffs.

Players that will be League 6, 7 or 8 for the Spring 2025 Season 

Game Dates
Games: Played on 7 or 8 Sundays in September and October: 
Optional Games: Up to 2 additional per team will be played on various Saturday nights at either Carman (under the lights) or March Field if teams agree to the schedule

Game Times
Game times will vary from week to week but will be based as best the league can around the Eagles schedule.  On Sundays when the Eagles play at 1 pm, start times will either be at 11 am (in time to catch most of the game) or start later in the day depending on sunset times.  On Sundays when the Eagles do not play at all or play at night, start times will be 1 pm and 3:30 pm.  Saturday night games will start at 5 pm for March Field and 6 pm for Carman Field.
**Game schedules are subject to change from week to week based on weather and field conditions. The league will make every effort to make up any game cancelled due to the weather.

Practice Dates
Coaches will work with the league to schedule a minimum of ONE practice per week.  This could be on the same night each week or vary week depending on the team. Note, practices may be limited towards the end of the season or will have to start earlier due to earlier sunset times.  If you have a specific night you can NOT practice please enter that during registration to help with team formation.
