Age Eligibility

Peccole Little League welcomes male and female players with "league ages" 4-16 to participate. The divisions in which each age player is eligible to play are described in the section titled Baseball Divisions.

Little League’s Regulation II UPDATED FOR 2025

Starting in 2025, Little League has removed boundary restrictions for players league age 4-7 (born on or after September 1, 2017). This means all players in this age group are now welcome to join Peccole Little League, regardless of geographical or school related boundaries. This change provides a wonderful opportunity for young players to play alongside classmates, family friends, or former neighborhood friends, fostering stronger connections and more enjoyable experiences. Geographical Eligibility for Peccole Little League

For all league-age players 8 years old and older, the geographical and school boundaries remain in effect. Peccole Little League boundary is defined as a geographic rectangle on the western side of the Las Vegas Valley, encompassing residents who live or attend school within the area south of Alta Drive, north of Cactus, east of Hualapai, and west of Durango. This includes the zip codes 89117, 89145, 89147, 89148, and 89178. Within this boundary are several prominent Master Plan Communities, such as Queensridge, Peccole Ranch, Rhodes Ranch, Canyon Gate Country Club, The Lakes, and the western half of Mountains Edge. In addition, any Player who attends a school located in Peccole Little League's boundaries is eligible to play in the league, regardless of their physical address. The list of schools includes but is not limited to:

Waivers for Players Outside Peccole Little League's Boundaries

Any player who does not reside in or go to school located in Peccole Little League's boundaries, will only be eligible to play if that player has lived within Peccole boundaries prior to moving, AND has never missed playing in a spring season. All waiver requests to the Charter Committee must be submitted and approved in writing by the League President BEFORE the start of the regular season.

A description of each possible waiver is below.

School Enrollment Form

In an effort to accommodate Little League players to play with their classmates, and ease the burden on parents and guardians, Little League International has amended its residency requirements to allow children to play in the local league whose boundaries where they attend school are located. To verify enrollment, parents will need to bring an official school document (report card, school enrollment form) confirming enrollment in the school for the current academic year. For Former Residents Who Have Moved (Regulation II(D) Waiver)

If a player has lived within Peccole Little League's boundaries while registered and playing in the league but later moved outside the league's boundaries, this waiver allows the player to continue participating in Peccole Little League. Siblings of players approved under this waiver may also qualify to play in Peccole Little League. The player in question must continue uninterrupted involvement in Peccole Little League after moving (or after the boundary changed) or the waiver lapses. Three valid Proofs of Residency from the last season in which the player resided within the league's boundaries are required for this waiver request. Little League II(D) Waiver Form

Veteran Volunteers

If a person had previously resided within Peccole Little League's boundaries for two years while serving as a volunteer manager, coach, or member of the league's Board of Directors for two years, his or her children are eligible to play in Peccole Little League if (1) he or she continues such volunteer service with the league, (2) the league within whose boundaries the volunteer currently resides consents to this waiver, and (3) the waiver request is approved by the District Administrator. Three valid Proofs of Residency from the last season in which the player resided within Peccole Little League's boundaries are required for this waiver request.
