Tee Ball (League Age 4-6)

The Tee Ball Division is a combination Tee Ball / Coach-Pitch division for league age 4, 5 and 6 year olds. League age 7 year olds who are new to the game or who need additional training and development can play in this division with the approval of the Board of Directors. This division is a non-competitive division where players can learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience. Tee Ball players do not evaluate to play. There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded. Players can request a coach (depending on roster availability).

Rookies / Coach Pitch (League Age 6-8)

The Minors A Division is a coach pitch division for league ages 6, 7, and 8 year olds. At Peccole, we refer to this division as Rookies. League age 6 year olds MUST have played one year of Little League Tee Ball to be eligible to play in this division. Players must be evaluated in order to play. Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournament, although the primary focus is player development. In order to achieve competitive balance, players cannot request a specific coach or team.

Minor Division

Minors AA Division (League Ages 8-10)

The Minors AA division is a competitive kid pitch division for kids league age 8, 9 and 10. League age 8 year olds MUST have played one year of coach pitch equivalent baseball to be eligible to play in the Minors AA division, must have sufficient skill and ability, and must be drafted into the division. Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournaments.

Players/parents do not select whether they wish to play in the Minors AA division. All players must attend one of the scheduled evaluations to be eligible for the draft and subsequently chosen.

Players who are league age 11 who wish to play in the Minors AAA division for further development must be granted a waiver by the league and are ineligible to pitch in this division.

Peccole Minor AA Division Rules

Minors AAA Division (League Ages 8-11)

The Minors AAA division is competitive kid pitch divisions for players league age 9, 10 and 11. Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournaments. Minors AAA division teams may also be selected to play in a District 4 Tournament of Champions after the spring tournament ends.

Players/parents do not select whether they wish to play in the Minors AAA division. All players must attend a scheduled evaluation to be eligible for the draft and subsequently chosen. All Minors AAA teams draft their players and any remaining players are placed in the AA draft pool.

Players who are league age 12 who wish to play in the Minors AAA division must be granted a waiver by the District Administrator.

At Peccole Little League, we typically combine the Minor teams and only have one level in this division - AAA. This is determined season, by season, based on player registration count and evaluations.

Majors Division (League Age 9-12)

The Majors division is a competitive division for players league age 9, 10, 11 and 12. Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournaments. Teams may also be selected to play in a District 4 Tournament of Champions after the spring season tournament ends. New players to this division must attend one of the scheduled evaluations to be eligible for the draft. All players may try-out, but are not guaranteed to be drafted to Majors (if not drafted, they will be placed in the Minors AAA/AA division draft pool). Once drafted to a Majors team, a player remains on that team for the duration of their eligibility and need not evaluate or be drafted again.

Peccole Major Division Rules

Intermediate 50/70 Division (League Age 11-13)

This division is the first to utilize a regulation sized baseball field with a 70 foot base path and 50 foot pitching rubber. This division is normally scheduled by and run by the league with the most teams for that season. This division offers tournament play, to include the Intermediate World Series.

Juniors Division (League Age 12-15)

This is the first division to utilize a regulation-sized baseball field with a 90-foot base path and a 60-foot, 6-inch pitching rubber. It is typically scheduled and managed by the league with the most teams for that season and offers tournament play, including the Juniors World Series.
