Congratulations on being selected to coach with Peccole Little League! Below, you will find a list of responsibilities to expect, resources to utilize, and a general guide on the next steps following the draft to help you plan and prepare for the upcoming season.
Coach Responsibilities
Now What?
- review your roster, get familiar with families that volunteered to assist (coaching, scorekeeping, concession stand)contact your team by the league requested dated
- work with our coaches agent to determine a practice schedule based on field availability
- build your team in GameChanger
- add your practice schedule to GameChanger
- the Board will upload your schedule to GameChanger
- send a team email introducing yourself and team parent, and outlining your practice schedule and expectations for the season
- attend the managers meeting
- practice and prepare your players for the season ahead
Tools used by Peccole Little League
The primary tool used by Peccole Little League for coaches and parents is Game Changer. This app is used for game schedules, scorekeeping, team communication/chats, player stats, pitch counts and league standings.

We also encourage new coaches to connect with your co-division coaches and upper division coaches to learn from their past experiences and share successful strategies.
Your board is here to support you. If a player or family has an issue or concern, you can refer them to the players agent, found on our Board of Directors page. As a coach, you can lean into your coaches agent for questions.
