Draft eligible players are those who registered for Rookie through Juniors (2025 Ages 6 to 15). Players who registered for T-Ball (2025 Ages 4-6) do NOT participate in player evaluations. All draft-eligible players will participate in the following evaluations:

Outfield: Players will field three pop flies from the left field position and make throws to second base.

Infield: Players will field three ground balls from the shortstop position and throw to first base.

Batting: Players will face three pitches from a pitching machine (pitch speed adjusted by age). After the final pitch, players will run the bases, regardless of whether the ball is put in play.

Equipment: Players must bring a baseball glove, a Little League-approved bat (USA stamped), and a helmet. Athletic attire and cleats are strongly recommended.

Check-In: Players must check in personally at the registration table before taking the field. The check-in table is located at the pavilion to the right, next to FSC2 field, in the bottom parking lot of the Fullerton Sports Complex.

Evaluation Days : Because Golden Hill has over 500 players who must be evaluated by coaches, we must spread tryouts over an entire weekend. As such, here are the days that evaluations are held for 2025 :

Friday Jan 10th :  League Ages 10, 11, & 12
Saturday Jan 11th : League Ages 6, 7, 8, & 9
Sunday Jan 12th : League Ages 13, 14, & 15

Tuesday Jan 14th : Makeup Evaluations - All Ages (excused absences only)

Time Slots : Players MUST attend their designated time slots. To find your specific time, please click BELOW on the 2025 Little League Age to which your child is. Please note, your 2025 Little League Age is based on your birth date per the Little League rules. Please see age chart to the right.

All players must attend player evaluations. Failure to do so may result in your registration being cancelled and your spot given to a waitlist player. Excused absences are allowed, but must be supported by a doctor's note or proof of inability to attend.
