Registration Links will be available at the bottom of the page *Please read all steps below*

NEW FOR 2026!
  • Sports Connect: This is our new LL required platform for our official website, registration and season communication. Please create an account to start the experience.
  • Required Forms: Little League International asks for proof of eligibility during registration. Please note you can proceed without uploading, however verification will be required for anyone selected for All Stars. littleleague.org/downloads/residency-checklist/
  • Community Volunteers: Although this isn't new, we are taking a new approach to getting involved that aligns with many other leagues. Each family is expected to loan a minimum of 2 hours of their time to support the league each season. Visit our volunteer page for options and be on the lookout for more information on signups once season begins. If you have a preference to opt out of donating your time, there is an alternative option during registration to donate in lieu of.
  • Manager/ Head Coach: Will receive 50% off their child's regular season registration fee at the conclusion of season, once role responsibilities have been filled.
  • Jr Umpire Program: We are seeking to launch a Jr. umpire program that will offer free umpire training options for youth 10+ to attend. All Jr Umpires will be paired with an adult for games. Protective gear supplied by the league. This is a great opportunity to grow acumen and situational leadership.
  • Umpire Program: We are looking to expand our volunteer umpire program in an effort to grow involvement across the league. We will offer free training and league provided protective gear.
  • Player Assessments: For those league age 9 and above, there is a mandatory Player Assessment event (mid-February), along with a make-up event. All players playing in AAA or above are required to participate. Those unable to attend either option will need to fill out an RLL Assessment waiver and speak to the Player Agent for draft placement guidelines.
  • Team Draft: We are currently in the process of reviewing our Local rules to ensure a clear, consistent Player Draft process for 2026. Details will be provided as we near the Player Assessment event.

STEP 1- LEAGUE FINDER CONFIRMATION

Please visit this link: League Finder - Little League to quickly and easily confirm your player’s boundary eligibility for Renton Little League.

Little League International requires all participants at every level in a local league must either reside and/or attend school within the boundary of the league. Players that do not reside within a league boundary but attend a school that is physically located within the league boundary are permitted to participate in that league with full eligibility.

EXCEPTION: Players Age 4-7 can participate in any league of their choice (see LL Rulebook Regulation II). Siblings of these players can also enroll in the younger player's league. To confirm eligibility, please reach out to us to discuss your specific player's situation.

If your home address nor the player's school is within the boundaries, this will require pursing a formal waiver process. Please email [email protected] for more information or with questions.

STEP 2- AGE FINDER CONFIRMATION

Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® Age Charts. You must register for the Division listed for your player's age. Check the League Age calculator here:  League Age Determination - Little League.
*Note different calendars for baseball and softball.

Player Petitions:  Request consideration for a different division:
  • If you would like to request to play at a higher or lower division, first register for your child's assigned age division.
  • You can petition to play up or down by contacting the appropriate player agent after registration.
  • Confirmations can only be made once player assessments are completed. Requests are considered based on skill level, # of teams and maximum team sizes.

STEP 3- DIVISION ELIGIBILITY

Based on your player's LL age, determine which Division you wish to register them for.

NOTE: We have encountered an occasional registration glitch when players age falls within 2 different divisions.
If this happens, please select the division it offers you. Then email [email protected] with your players name and desired division. We will manually adjust their placement and make arrangements for refund or payment, if needed.

(See the Programs tab for more details, if needed).

STEP 4- GATHER PROOF OF RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS

Little League International asks all players to provide proof of eligibility based on either residency or school enrollment. Note registration can be completed without uploading, however any player may be required to provide upon request. Also, it is mandatory for those selected for end of season "All Stars" to provide physical documents.

Please visit littleleague.org/downloads/residency-checklist/ for a list of eligible documents.

STEP 5- PLAN TO VOLUNTEER

Little League is a 100% volunteer run organization, and your support is needed to ensure we have a successful season.

Registration fees are built off an assumption that each family can donate 2 hours of their time toward an event or supporting role.

  • Each team will need (1) Team Manager/Head Coach, (2) Assistant Coaches, (1) Team Parent, and divisions AA and above will need volunteer Umpires and Score Keepers. Training is available for all roles including a Coaches Clinic, Rules Clinic, Umpire Training and Team Parent overview meeting.  You can note your interest during registration for each of these positions.
If you aren't able to commit to one of the above roles, there will also be opportunities to support events to fulfill the commitment. As a final option, if you prefer to donate $50 in lieu of volunteering your time, that is also a welcomed option.

NEW for 2026!
Those selected for Team Manager roles (1 per team) will receive a 50% refund of registration fees at the conclusion of season once the role has been fulfilled.

NEW for 2026! We are exploring a Junior Umpire program! More to come for those interested! Drop us an email at [email protected] if you'd like to learn more!
