The Heart of Little League: Our Volunteers

Little League is more than a game—it’s a community built on dedication, teamwork, and the spirit of giving back. Every practice, every game, and every smile on the field is made possible by volunteers who generously share their time and talents. From coaches and team parents to scorekeepers and umpires, these individuals create an environment where kids learn not only the fundamentals of baseball and softball but also life lessons in character, courage, and friendship.

Your involvement matters. Whether you’re cheering from the stands or stepping up to help, volunteers are the backbone of our league. Together, we make the magic happen.

Little League is intended to be a 100% volunteer organization. We are asking for every family to contribute to our community to make this season our most successful yet!

Where You Can Help

This year, we’re inviting families to play an important role in the heart of Little League through giving back. Our league thrives because of the people who care—not just about the game, but about the kids, the friendships, and the memories we create together.

We know life is busy, and every hour you give is a gift. Whether it’s signing up for an official team role or donate a couple hours for an event - we need you to help make a difference! When families come together, we create more than a season—we build a community where every child feels supported and every moment matters. Thank you for being part of something bigger. Your involvement is what keeps Little League strong.

We have one Manager/ Head Coach per team and NEW for 2026! we are offering a 50% off registration refund at the end of season for those who support the full season in this role. Managers must attend the Coaches meeting, support Player Assessment events and oversee team operations.

We also strive to have 2 Assistant coaches per team for support!

Team Parents

Every team needs parent volunteers. Whether you're coordinating after game snacks, keeping official score, keep players in line on the sidelines- we need your help! Email Jessie H. at [email protected].

Join Our Board of Directors

The RLL Board is a volunteer group of parents that want our league to be successful and we donate our time and talents to make it all happen. Are you interested in joining us? Let us know! Email Michele R. at [email protected]

Volunteer Umpires

In 2026, we look forward to building out a strong volunteer Umpire and Jr Umpire program. In Little League, it is desired that umpires are a 100% volunteer crew and of course, we need an umpire for every game.
While we build out our RLL program, we will supplement umpire staffing through a partnership with an official umpire organization for the higher divisions. Once we get to a sustainable program with volunteers and can remove the umpiring fees, we plan to reduce registration fees (hopefully in '27!)- but we need you!!

No experience necessary! We'll train you and provide you with plenty of guidance and gear. Interested? Email Adam J. our Umpire in Chief - [email protected].
