When does registration open and close? Registration for Renton Little League opens on December 1st and closes February 1st.

Why did RLL move to a new website/ registration platform? Little League international made this change in 2025 mandating the new platform. We worked during the offseason to set it up in time for Spring 2026.

What are the age requirements for participation? Renton Little League offers programs for children aged 4 to 14 years old. League Age Determination - Little League

How do I know if my child is eligible to play in Renton Little League? Your child must either reside or attend school within the Renton Little League boundaries (or receive an approved waiver if not within boundaries); Check the boundary map on LL’s website. League Finder - Little League

As of 2025, there was a new rule for players under 8 and their siblings eligibility. Kids age 4-7 can play in ANY league; Their older sibling can follow them to that league. Please ask for details if you wish to explore this to ensure it applies in your situation.  

How much does it cost to register? Registration fees vary by division and age group. Check the Renton Little League registration website for the most current fee schedule.

Are there any opportunities for fee reduction? Yes, please visit T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant Program - Little League or reach out to [email protected] for additional resources. We are committed to ensuring all children have an opportunity to play, scholarships are available.

When will the season begin? Practices will begin mid-March; Regular season games run mid-April through mid- June.

Are there any volunteer opportunities? Yes, please! We count on our amazing volunteers! Renton Little League is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as team managers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers, board members, or in other roles to support the league. Training is provided to support our volunteers. All volunteers must complete and pass a background check every season.

What equipment does my child need? Your child will need a glove, cleats, and appropriate athletic clothing. The league provides team jerseys and hats funded by registration fees. Additional equipment like bats and helmets may be provided by the team or can be purchased individually. We can help with equipment needs through potential donations or Gear Swaps.
