GYA NFL Flag Football Spring 2026

Spring 2026 Game Dates: March 27th, April 2nd (Thursday), 10th, 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th; Tournament May 15th & 16th

GYA is delighted to announce a groundbreaking collaboration that will enhance our flag football experience through a partnership with the NFL FLAG league.

With the generous support of the NFL, we offer a well-structured opportunity for kids to explore the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship both on and off the field.

At NFL FLAG, participants not only gain a solid foundation in technique but also have the perfect introduction to mastering the fundamentals of the game. It serves as an excellent starting point for learning catching, throwing, formations, routes, defensive skills, and more.

We recognize that the heart of youth sports goes beyond mastering these fundamentals; it's about being an integral part of a team and, most importantly, savoring the overall experience. Join us at NFL FLAG for a journey where improvement, teamwork, and enjoyment converge seamlessly.

All games will be held at a new location: Campo Verde High School. To maximize the use of the turf stadium field, we may need to utilize two different days to accommodate all teams, players, and games

Additionally, beginning this season, NFL FLAG registration will transition away from grade-based divisions to age-based divisions. The new divisions, which align with official NFL FLAG levels, will be: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U. This change is intended to create more balanced competition and a better overall experience for our athletes. This is a 5-on-5 flag football program for elementary and junior high–aged athletes.

NEW This Season: Girls 17u High School 7 v 7

Girls high school flag football is on the rise. With flag football sweeping the nation, the sport is expanding at an unprecedented rate. Schools across the country are recognizing the value of flag football as an official high school sport, paving the way for more girls to compete, earn college scholarships, and make history on the field.

Age divisions are based on the athlete’s age as of August 1, 2025.

6U: August 2, 2018 – August 1, 2019

8U: August 1, 2016 – August 1, 2018

10U: August 1, 2014 – August 1, 2016

12U: August 1, 2012– August 1, 2014

14U: August 1, 2010 – August 1, 2012
