Division Descriptions4-6 (PreKinder-1st Grade)
In this division, youth work on the basic fundamentals of coordination as it relates to kicking, throwing and base running. Kids are introduced to basic kickball rules while focusing on fun, fitness, and teamwork. Special rules such as mandatory position rotation and no official score keeping makes this division the perfect introduction for our youngest players.
7-9 (2nd Grade-3th Grade)
In the 7-9 division, focus remains on the fundamental skills of throwing, kicking and fielding. Knowledge of kickball rules expands and positional play is introduced while stressing the importance of teamwork. Children in this division begin to develop competitiveness with their peers.
10-12 (4th Grade-6th Grade)
Different kicking techniques, base-running skills, and fielding through designated positional play is emphasized in this division. Beginning pitching and differentiating between balls and strikes are taught so that outs can be recorded and official score can be reported. While games can be competitive, and intense, good sportsmanship and respect is stressed not just for their specific Crush team, but for all opponents, coaches, umpires and parents on and off the field.
