Loveland Youth Baseball (LYBO)

Our Programs

Loveland Youth Baseball (LYBO) provides boys and girls ages 4–16+ the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through the game of baseball right here in our community. We offer a variety of programs for all skill levels, including Spring and Fall Little League, our Loveland Generals travel teams for those seeking higher-level competition and our unique Baseball Academy program designed to help all ball players develop their skills between seasons.

LYBO is an organization made up of volunteers, from our coaches to our board members. We are friends and neighbors who come together to support our kids and our community. We encourage our adult volunteers to model the life lessons of character, confidence, sportsmanship and teamwork. Join us today!

Come Together. Play Together. Stay Together.

Loveland Generals Select Program (more info)

The Loveland Generals are our travel program, offering a more competitive brand of baseball but keeping it primarily limited to players that fall within the Loveland area. We currently offer up to two teams at each age level from 8u+ depending on interest, talent and coaching availability. Generals teams will play a competitive longer select schedule that includes tournaments and further travel. Teams under 12u will also play a limited Little League schedule, making them eligible for the Little League All Star Tournament. Generals players/teams pay additional fees to cover tournaments, uniforms, additional practice time and more games.

Teams are filled following tryouts which occur each summer (June/July) for the following Spring

Loveland Baseball Academy (more info)

The Loveland Player Development Program (Baseball Academy) is for players who are interested in improving foundational skills between seasons. We strive to do this in a fun, organized program that mimics private lessons but in a more affordable and approachable group lesson format lead by a professional instructor. It’s perfect for any ball player of any skill level. Current programs are offered in Winter and Summer, falling in between our Spring and Fall baseball seasons. Loveland Academy also occasionally offers one-off opportunities for clinics and batting lessons with professional instructors.

Little League All Star Tournament

At the end of both the Little League and Loveland Generals seasons, Loveland Little League All Star teams will be formed at each age group utilizing kids from both programs. These teams then go on to compete in post-season tournament play within our Little League District 9. Teams and tournament play are facilitated by our VP of All Stars 12U and under.  Have you ever watched the Little League World Series on ESPN?  This is where that all begins! With local Little League All Star teams from across the United States.  They compete in District-level tournaments, with winners at select age groups moving on to state and regional levels. Although these opportunities are rare, Loveland is proud to be part of the Little League tradition! This is also why we adhere to specific Little League age guidelines.
