The ENTIRE Loveland Youth Baseball program is run from top to bottom by volunteers. We cannot run this amazing program without a constant flow of new volunteer families, especially among younger families newer to our programs. No role is too big or too small - there are ways for anyone to help regardless of previous baseball experience.

Most impactful ways to support:

Volunteer to coach. Every team needs a volunteer head coach and assistants. Our coaches are our most vital volunteers and also have the largest impact on our kids and organization! Experience welcome, but not required, our coaches will receive step by step guidance from their League Director and will have access to our Coach Development curriculum.  For a smaller commitment, consider volunteering as a parent coach for our Baseball Academy program, which is a fantastic way to to learn coaching basics before taking on a team.

Join the Board. Also made up entirely of volunteers, the board executes a variety of tasks to keep the league functioning throughout the year. Roles cross a variety of skillsets and responsibilities, from organizing uniform orders to community outreach programs and maintaining fields.  Board meetings occur about every four weeks.  Visit our CONTACTS page for a list of open board and volunteer positions and consider joining us for a meeting to learn more. Become a sponsor. As a non-profit we rely on sponsors to help us keep registration costs as low has possible. Want to get involved or have an idea? Reach out to our VP of Fundraising that can be found on our CONTACTS page.

Smaller commitments that are still a huge help:

Support your coach. Even the most experienced coaches need extra help. Prepping/cleaning fields, getting kids ready to bat or even just bringing snacks. Supporting your coaching staff will help them give your kids the best experience possible.

Attend board meetings. Not ready to take on a formal position? Join us to stay up to date on what's happening.  Provide valuable feedback about your experiences and learn about smaller ways you may still be able to help.

Spread the word! Share news and information about our program with your friends and neighbors. Share social media posts, wear your Loveland gear and help spread the pride we have for LYBO!

Engage and participate. We strive to offer opportunities to connect as a community outside of games on the field. Attend parent meetings, family fun nights and events like the 4th of July parade. Come out and support other teams in post season play and be a part of something bigger!
