Dynamo Recreation Families,
In these difficult times, I pray that this email finds you safe and healthy. I apologize for having not sent anything out to you prior to now, however, I do think it’s important to only send information that we know to be true and accurate. I have been on several conference calls with clubs and their Directors as we try, collectively as a soccer community, to get a grasp of how things will progress for this Spring, Summer and beyond.
Below, I have categorized areas of interest that have been discussed between the clubs or questions asked by some of you:
Spring Season
At this point we fully plan on having a Spring Recreational Season. The season may extend through June, or possibly July, however the Spring season WILL be played. I have spoken with Hanover Parks and Recreation and they are fully prepared for us to use the fields through the Summer. I have also spoken with the other clubs in Virginia and they are planning to do the same. Once we have an official start date, we will communicate that with you as well.
Payments
Since we are planning to proceed with the Recreational Season, we will NOT be offering Refunds or Credits. Please understand that the vast majority of our expenses for this Spring has already been paid out. We understand and respect that ALL of our families have been hard hit by this virus, however, Dynamo Soccer Club is NOT in a position to offer refunds.
Practices
Obviously all practices remain cancelled. We have been asked by Hanover Parks and Recreation to remove all of our goals from the fields so that they can begin summer maintenance on them in planning for increased use during the summer months. Please encourage your players to practice a home with individual ball skills like juggling or passing and receiving.
Raffle Tickets
The seasonal Dynamo Raffle WILL be played once the season restarts. Further information as to where to deposit your tickets, and when the drawing will be held, will be communicated at a later date. You can also mail your tickets to the Dynamo Soccer Club office if you’d like. The address is below:

Jersey Pick-up of Purchases from Soccer Post VA
All items purchased from Soccer Post VA for the season have been delivered to the Dynamo Soccer Club office. There will be a scheduled drive by pick-up time at the Dynamo Soccer Club office (please see below for pick-up date and times). Soccer Post VA has asked us to communicate that the items purchased are NOT refundable.
PICK-UP DATE: Saturday March 28th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM*
*any items that are not picked up during this time, can be picked up on the first game date of the season start.

Please understand that we are ALL functioning as best we can through this pandemic. It is our full intent to continue Dynamo Soccer Club well into the future. We could never have come this far, nor could we ever continue without your support and understanding through these unprecedented times.
