Dynamo Soccer Club's Mission Statement
The mission of Dynamo Soccer Club is to offer a physically and psychologically safe environment for children of all ages to enjoy participation in soccer at varying competitive levels, at a reasonable financial cost. Our club emphasizes working on "Developing quality people, quality players".
Dynamo Soccer Club’s History
Dynamo Soccer Club was established in December of 2005 as a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization to provide a cost effective soccer experience to the residents of Mechanicsville and Hanover County. In 2009, Dynamo Soccer Club expanded services to include King William County and in Spring 2013, Dynamo Soccer Club began offering a Recreation league in Henrico County. Dynamo Soccer Club is managed and run by the professional soccer club management service of Commonwealth Soccer Programs.
The first spring season of Dynamo Soccer Club saw the creation of our recreational program which began with 320 players registered, participating in U6, U8, U10 and U12 age groups. Since then, the club has more than tripled in the number of membership and has grown to include a Travel Program, a Jr Academy Program, a U4 Dynamite Division, Girls’ Recreational Divisions, and a full spectrum of age groups in our Coed Recreational Programs spanning U5 through U19. With our success, Dynamo Soccer Club has gained partnerships with Nike, Dick's Sporting Goods and D.C. United to provide our club with the best equipment and experience possible.
Community participation is an important aspect to Dynamo Soccer Club. We believe in enriching children’s lives both on and off the field. We are proud sponsors of many elementary schools in the area, participating in events like the Cool Spring Elementary's Fall Festival, Kersey Creek Elementary’s Fitness Night and numerous local schools with our Anti-Bullying Program. In addition, Dynamo Soccer Club has also donated equipment to many school’s P.E. programs and local Middle School's soccer program.
Our Recreation Program utilizes fields throughout Hanover County, including Pole Green Park, Taylor Park, and Courthouse Park and most recently have utilized fields in eastern Henrico County where there has been a need for a youth soccer program in that area.
Dynamo Soccer Club does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, players and their families, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
