In these difficult times, I pray that this email finds you safe and healthy. Your Dynamo Board met last week to determine how we can proceed with several of the topics that we have received questions about. I have done my best to answer them and communicate our direction below. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us. The Dynamo Soccer Club office is currently closed. If you call, there will not be anyone there to answer.
Spring Season
It is with a saddened heart that we will have to cancel the Spring Recreational Season.
Credits
Please understand that the vast majority of our expenses for this Spring has already been paid out. We understand and respect that ALL of our families have been hard hit by this virus, however, Dynamo Soccer Club is NOT in a position to offer refunds. We WILL, however, be crediting your Dynamo Soccer Club accounts with $50 that can be used for a future Dynamo Soccer Club season in Summer, Fall 2020 or Winter, Spring 2021. If you choose to register for Summer 2020 and have registered and paid for Spring 2020, then the balance remaining for Summer Registration will be waived. When registering for future Dynamo Soccer Club Seasons, late fees, fund raising fees, and website fees will not be eligible to be covered by your Dynamo Credit.
Summer 2020 Season
The Summer 2020 Season will be managed a little differently from Fall and Spring. During the summer months practices and games during the day are very hot and unpleasant. For that reason, the Summer 2020 season will NOT include practices. Games will be played during the weeknights and weekend evening under the lights to encourage participating during the cooler hours of the day. I’d expect game times to begin at 6:30 and 7:30 PM daily. Games may be played at Pole Green Park or Courthouse Park, depending on the fields that we are assigned by Hanover County Parks and Recreation.
Players who did not sign up for Spring 2020, are also eligible to participate in the Summer 2020 Season at the normal price.
Raffle Tickets
The Spring 2020 seasonal Dynamo Raffle WILL be played. The drawing for prizes will be during the Summer 2020 season. Once the Summer Season begins, we will announce when the drawing will be. Once the Summer 2020 Season begins, you will be able to drop off your Spring 2020 tickets at the tent, during the game times. Further information about where those will be, will be communicated to you, once the Summer 2020 Season begins. You can also mail your tickets to the Dynamo Soccer Club office if you’d like.
