Dear Dynamo Soccer Club Families,
We hope everyone has had a great week! As we head into the first weekend of games for many of you, we wanted to reach out with a few notes and reminders.*Don't forget to double check your game schedule on our website (www.dynamosc.com) for your game time and field number prior to your game. Please be sure to view our inclement weather information below.
U13 - U19 Game Fields - Reminder, the U13 - U19 divisions are scheduled to play their games at Taylor Park this season!
U7 - U19 Jerseys - If your team is listed as home, players should wear their NAVY jersey. If your team is away, players should wear WHITE/GREY jersey. We recommend bringing both jerseys just in case.
Jersey Purchase (U7 - U19 Divisions ONLY) - Reminder, if you have not already done so, U7 - U19 age division players must purchase jerseys for the season! Both the Navy (Home) and the White (Away) jerseys are required. Jerseys are purchased through Soccer Post and may be shipped to your house or picked up at their store. (Jersey Link)
Parents - When setting up your chairs near the field, please make sure you leave some space between you and the out of bounds line. This allows the ball to go out of bounds and gives room between you and the field of play. Everyone should be seated on the sideline, and not behind the goal.
Inclement Weather Alert - We will update you only if fields are closed! If you do not hear from us, then fields are open!! We will update our website, send out a mass email, and text alert no later than 7:30 AM on game days! In order to receive the text alerts you must sign up your number! Text 'REC' to (833) 406-0632 to sign up.
Crown Trophy - The end of the season will be here before you know it. If your team would like to order trophies for the end of the season, we suggest contacting Crown Trophy! Crown Trophy is easy to work with and they provide great savings to all of our Dynamo families. When ordering, mention Dynamo to receive the discount! We recommend getting together with the parents on the team and organizing the details. Their local store is #111 and can be contacted by calling (804) 262-1000. Visit their website and take a look at what they have to offer! Dynamo Soccer Club does not provide trophies.
Raffle Tickets - Tickets can be dropped off at the Dynamo table at Pole Green Park on game days. They can also be mailed or dropped off at our office during the week. (*If stopping by our office, please call ahead.) All tickets must be turned in no later than April 27th at 1:00 PM!
Game Schedules - You can locate the game schedules on the home page of our dynamosc.com website or they may also be found on the recreation website under the "Game Schedules" tab at the top of the page!
We utilize referees for U7 - U19 games. We ask that you refrain from yelling and speaking to any referee in a negative manner. Please remember that most of the referees are also children who are still learning. Any abuse towards a referee by a player, parent or coach will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with a referee, we ask that you email or call our office. You may also stop by our table at Pole Green to alert us to an issue.
Important Dates & Information:
March 23rd - All age divisions play; First game day for U7 - U19 age divisions
March 30th & April 6th - NO GAMES; Spring Break (All practices may still take place this week)
April 27th - Raffle Tickets are due!
