MEMBER CHECK-IN & OUT
Members and Guests of the Fitness Center, Gym and Game Room must check in at the Front Desk using their membership card or ID. Members and Guests may also check out towels or equipment using their membership card at the Front Desk.
Members and Guests must check out for the day when ready to depart, and return any equipment or towels that were borrowed to the Front Desk area using their membership card.
TOWEL POLICY
Membership cards are required to check out Quarries towels and hand towels. All towels must be returned to the Front Desk area and checked back in using membership card.
Towels are FREE to members and $1.00 for guests.
OTHER EQUIPMENT
Membership cards are required to check out Quarries basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, soccer balls, kick balls and other sporting equipment. We also have game room equipment available, including billiards, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and table shuffleboard.
GUEST PRIVILEGES
Guest passes include access to our Fitness Center, our Gymnasium, and our Game Room. Guest passes are $5 per person, per day. In addition keys or personal Driver’s license are required to check out a guest card.
Children 12 years old or under are free of charge if accompanied by parent or guardian who has paid a guest fee. Please note that children 12 years old or under are not permitted in the Fitness Center at any time.
INDOOR TRACK POLICY
The Quarries indoor track is free for members and guests. We reserve the right to limit access to the track at any time. Members and guests using the indoor track are required to sign in at our Front Desk.
GENERAL POLICIES FOR MINORS
Please check with the front desk for specific rules, policies and fees for use of childcare (babysitting) and minors. You and your minor children must follow all rules and policies and pay any applicable fees. To join, all minors need the financial guaranty of a parent or guardian and the parent or guardian must sign the membership agreement.
Children 12 years of age or under:
Children 12 years of age or under may not use our Quarries Fitness Center at any time. Children 12 or under must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times when in the facilities. Childcare is available for children 10 and under.
Middle School Students:
Middle school students may use the game room and gymnasium unsupervised.
High School Students:
High school students may use our Quarries Fitness Center without being accompanied by a parent or guardian only if the high school student is a member who has completed our FREE orientation process. Orientations must be scheduled with at least 2 days advance notice.
High school students may also use our Quarries Fitness Center if they are accompanied by their parent or guardian.
LOCKERS
Lockers are available for members and guests for day use only. The Quarries does not provide locks. Do not leave any valuable property unlocked in a locker at any time.
The Quarries/Hyde Park Baptist Church is not responsible for any theft of or damage to your property. If you leave a lock on a locker overnight, the Quarries will consider your property abandoned and reserves the right to cut off the lock. Abandoned property may be donated to a charity.
Members may rent lockers for $100 per year. Yearly locker rentals are all registered with management. Only yearly locker rentals may leave a lock on a locker overnight.
PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES
No Alcohol, Drugs or Tobacco are permitted on the property.
No weapons of any kind are permitted in/on the Quarries Christian Life Center or its property.
No Photographic or Video Equipment: No photography, videotaping, filming or audio recording in the Quarries facilities without prior written permission of the management.
Food & Beverages: The Quarries reserves the right to limit food and drink to specific areas.
Outside Equipment: The Quarries reserves the right to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the facility.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Only Quarries CLC Personal Trainers are allowed to work with clients (includes members and guests) in the CLC . Inquire at the Front Desk for more information about personal trainers at the Quarries or see our Personal Training page.
CONDUCT
The Quarries does not permit or tolerate any inappropriate conduct. Inappropriate conduct includes using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, demeaning language, profanity, lewd conduct or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests or Quarries employees.
FITNESS CENTER ETIQUETTE
- Do not prop open doors or open doors to Fitness Center for others.
- Wipe down all equipment after use with provided gym wipes.
- A spotter should be used at all times when handling heavy weights.
- Do not slam or drop weights.
- Always re-rack your weights.
- Children 12 or under are not permitted in the Fitness Center at any time.
- Do not remove any Fitness Center equipment from the Fitness Center without Quarries staff approval.
DRESS CODE
CLC Members and Guests are required to abide by the following guidelines:
Tops
- Shirts must be worn at all times and must cover the chest, stomach, sides, and back.
- Workout tops must not be transparent or of a mesh-type material that exposes the torso.
- Any article of clothing with negative or inappropriate wording, logos or graphics is prohibited.
Bottoms
- No short shorts or cutoffs
- Workout pants/shorts must not be transparent or of an open mesh type material
Shoes
- Closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes that cover the entire foot must be worn at all times.
- NO cleats, sandals, flip-flops, or any other non-athletic shoes permitted.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their family and guests adhere to our dress code policies. Guests of members should be advised of our dress code policies before arrival at the Quarries CLC.
When in doubt as to whether attire conforms to the Quarries CLC Dress Code Policy, please seek the advice of the Fitness Center Staff.
Quarries staff reserves the right to ask members or guests to make changes to attire before continuing a workout.
