The Trojan Wrestling Club

Co-ed, Grades: K - 12

The Trojan Wrestling Club is a co-ed program designed for wrestlers grade K - 12. We will begin practice at Bandy’s HS wrestling room the week of December 4th. Practices will usually run from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Beginners (less than two years of experience) will practice two nights per week and experienced wrestlers three nights per week. Tournaments will start in December run through the middle of March. Tournament days are split by age group. Typically K-6 wrestle in the morning and middle and high school kids wrestle in the afternoon. Class is determined by birthdate and weight. On occasion if there is no one else registered for a wrestler's division and weight the coach and or parent will discuss the options of moving that child to another weight and or division.

Our tournament schedule for the season will be posted as soon as it is finalized. The coaches are going to pick a handful of the tournaments that we will consider Tournaments we as a team are attending.  This means there will be coaches in attendance for the entire tournament.  There will be additional tournaments for people to go to on their own. For these tournaments, there may be a coach in attendance, but it is not guaranteed. NO TOURNAMENT is mandatory. Tournament fees are normally run $15 but can be as high as $50.  There is a registration fee for every tournament. Wrestling singlets are issued the day of the tournament and turned back in to coach/team mom prior to leaving the tournament.
