Our Mission

FRYB has been a part of the Flemington-Raritan community since 1992. As the community has continued to grow so has the basketball program. Today we serve approximately one-thousand boys and girls between First Grade and U12. The Flemington-Raritan Youth Basketball Organization strives to introduce the players to the great American game of basketball and establish a solid foundation of fundamental skills and sportsmanship.

Along with Recreational Teams, we offer competitive Travel teams, which are available for boys in grades 4th thru 8th and girls 5th thru 8th grades. The travel program provides the opportunity for players to maximize their ability and skill level within their age/division. It also provides a more competitive environment.

Our objectives are to teach and train basketball players, develop leadership qualities, and promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents, officials, and spectators.

We will provide players with the opportunity to participate in a basketball experience where they can develop positive self-esteem and build character by learning the virtues of hard work, fair play, respect, honesty, self-control, teamwork, sportsmanship, and other learnings that are transferrable to the journey of life.
