WWSO LITTLE LEAGUE HISTORY
The Warrington Warwick Softball Organization (WWSO) has a rich history of appearances and successes in various softball tournaments, particularly in the Little League Softball World Series. Here are some notable highlights:
1997 Little League World Series
The Warrington Athletic Association's 12-year-old all-star team finished as the runner-up. They had a remarkable journey, sweeping through the loser's bracket and reaching the championship round before losing to Midway Little League from Waco, Texas.
1998 Senior League World Series
The team placed 4th in the Senior League World Series. This achievement continued to showcase the strength and skill of the players from the Warrington Warwick Softball Organization.
1999 Little League World Series
They secured a 5th place finish in the Little League World Series, demonstrating consistent performance at the national level.
2002 US East Champions
The WWSO team won the US East Championship and competed in the World Series in Portland, Oregon. Despite losing their initial games, they bounced back to defeat Canada, Asia Pacific, and Latin America teams, showing their resilience and competitive spirit.
