All four of these steps MUST be completed BEFORE the season starts. You will not be allowed to volunteer unless these are completed. Please set aside a few minutes to get these done before the season starts.
1. Background Check
- Completed in Coach Registration below.
- If there is any clarification needed based on the findings, we will contact you individually.
2. Copy of Driver's License
- Completed in Coach Registration below.
- Please upload a copy of your valid Driver's License or government issued photo ID.
3. Concussion Training***
- Everyone needs to complete this for the 2025 baseball season.
- Click the link: CDC HEADS UP to Youth Sports: Online Training at: https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html
- This training will take at least 30 minutes.
- If you need help setting up an account, click here.
- Complete the mandatory questions and survey within the online course.
- Once completed, download a copy of the certificate and upload it to your volunteer profile under "Training Certifications".***
4. Abuse Awareness Training***
- Everyone needs to complete this for the 2025 baseball season.
Directions for Abuse Awareness for Adults Course Completion--LITTLE LEAGUE:
- Create an Account or Sign in to USABDevelops.com
- Go to USABDevelops.com or download the USA Baseball app in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Click “Sign in/Register”
- Enter all required information
- Select your league from the “Little League – Local Leagues” drop-down menu and click “+Join”
- If you have an existing account, click your name in the top right corner, select MY ACCOUNT, and then UPDATE MY PROFILE to link your account with your local Little League.
- Complete Abuse Awareness for Adults course (If you have completed the Abuse Awareness for Adults course in the past and need an updated certificate, please select the Restart Course button.)
- Click EDUCATION
- Select COURSES
- Click “Abuse Awareness for Adults” → “+Enroll” → “Go to Course”
- Complete the course
- Click your name in the top right corner and select MY ACCOUNT
- Select COURSES
- Scroll to the Abuse Awareness for Adults course and click RESTART COURSE
- Download Certificate
- Click your name in the top right corner and select MY ACCOUNT
- Select COURSES
- Scroll to the Abuse Awareness for Adults course and click DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE
- Once completed, download a copy of the certificate and upload it to your volunteer profile under "Abuse Awareness".***
***If you need to go back and add documents, click "MY ACCOUNT" in the top right corner, then click "VOLUNTEER" in the left column, then click the 
icon next to your name and scroll to the bottom to upload the documents.
