The San Diego Lady Bolts is apart of the San Diego Bolts Football & Cheer program, affiliated with Pop Warner Football & Cheer.

San Diego Lady Bolts offers Age Based Small and Medium Cheer Teams for ages 3 through 13 years old.

The age of the participant on July 31st will be the Age Division they will be eligible to be placed in.

To verify age, A COPY of a valid Birth Certificate is required to be provided to San Diego Lady Bolts upon registration.

Exhibition Cheer Division

Jr. Tiny Mite - 3 & 4 years old

Flag Sideline & Competitive Cheer Division

Tiny Mite - 5, 6, & 7 years old

Sideline Cheer & Competitive Cheer Divisions

Mitey Mite - 7, 8, & 9 years old

Jr. Pee Wee - 8, 9, 10, & 11 years old

Pee Wee - 9, 10, 11, & 12 years old

Junior Varsity - 10, 11, 12, & 13 years old

PLEASE NOTE:

IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT ALL AGE DIVISIONS WILL BE FORMED.

IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT A PARTICIPANT WILL BE PLACED IN THEIR OLDEST ELIGIBLE AGE DVISION.

Division placement is based on the number of participants registered for a particular division.

San Diego Lady Bolts has participant safety at the forefront of every team formation.

FRIEND REQUEST, COACH REQUEST, and DIVISION REQUEST may be considered, but are not guaranteed.

TEAM SIZE:

We offer small to large formations of teams. With a minimum cheer team of 5 participants to maximum participants of 36.

Should a division/team have less than 5 cheerleaders registered, the division/team will not be eligible for competition & sideline cheer until the minimum number is met. Registrants will be transferred to another age appropriate division based on the cheerleaders age qualifications.

Should a division have more than 36 cheerleaders registered, registrants will be divided amongst age appropriate divisions. Cheerleaders will not be rostered for a team until the MINIMUM cheerleaders per team is me without exceeding the maximum limits.

GAMEDAY:

The San Diego Lady Bolts, is unit within the San Diego Bolts association which is in affiliation with the West Coast Conference (WCC) Pop Warner. Games will be played on Saturdays versus OTHER CITIES / ASSOCIATIONS within WCC, and other outside Conferences. Travel is GUARANTEED. We will play as far north as Inland Empire / Orange Country, as far South as Chula Vista, and as far EAST as EL CENTRO, during regular season play. Cheer (the Lady Bolts) are required to participate in sideline cheer for age appropriate SD Bolts football teams.

GAMES MAY BE PLAYED ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

Home Fields - Jr. Seau Sports Complex, La Mesa, CA

Practice Fields -Jr. Seau Sports Complex, La Mesa, CA and commonly utilize local/nearby gyms or other affiliated indoor/outdoor facilities.

COMPETITION:

The San Diego Lady Bolts, is unit within the San Diego Bolts association which is in affiliation with the West Coast Conference (WCC) Pop Warner. Cheer competitions will be held over the weekends versus OTHER CITIES / ASSOCIATIONS within WCC, and other outside Conferences. Travel is GUARANTEED. We may compete in various locations depending on award placement/advancement. Cheer (the Lady Bolts) are required to participate in sideline cheer for age appropriate SD Bolts football teams in order to compete. Pop Warner competitions are our primary focus and our teams may opt to compete at other outside competitions such as JAMZ. Please refer to the seasonal cheer board staff, cheer FAQ, and in season information provided for more information regarding competition.

POP WARNER requires IN EPRSON attendance for ALL PARTICIPANTS at Certification Day held in August, as well as JAMZ Camp, all practices and games that are held throughout the entire season/post season, and Pop Warner competitions. *Attendance is highly encouraged at all other Pop Warner held events such as Pop Warner/youth Nights at the local La Mesa/Grossmont High Schools, Pop Warner Cheer Night with the Padres, and other various events throughout the surrounding city during the season as well.
