What Makes FCA Denver Volleyball Different
Christ at the Center
At FCA Denver Volleyball, we believe an athlete’s true identity is found in Jesus Christ. Because their worth is secure in Him — not in performance, position, or achievement — athletes can play with freedom, joy, and confidence. Our coaches point athletes back to the truth that they are fully known, fully loved, and never alone on or off the court.
Identity Comes First
Athletes do not earn love, value, or belonging through performance. These are secure and unchanging. Athletes are coached to play from identity, not for identity. Their worth does not depend on playing time, statistics, position, or performance.
Coaches Who Care
When you play for FCA Denver Volleyball, you never wonder if your coach cares, you never have to earn love or value, and you are never reduced to a role or number. Because love and value are secure, our coaches are free to coach with honesty, high standards, confidence, and genuine care.
Team-First Culture
We cultivate environments where athletes celebrate one another, value different roles, and prioritize team success over individual recognition. Not everyone plays the same role—but every athlete matters.
More Than a Number
Athletes are not defined by stats, position, or playing time. Every athlete is seen, known, and valued.
Playing Free Changes Everything
When athletes know their identity is secure, they play boldly, recover quickly from mistakes, view errors as opportunities to learn, enjoy the process, and play volleyball because it is fun. On the court, athletes are encouraged to play free—knowing who they are does not change based on performance.
