PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

To the Players & Families of Newtown Edgmont Little League,

The excitement of Red October is slowly being replaced by kelly green dreams, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped thinking and planning for the ‘24 spring and summer baseball seasons.

Our recent efforts are centered on NELL’s mission to provide more access to better instruction so that our kids continue to improve and enjoy playing baseball. To further that mission we explored available options and included Jeff Randazzo and the team at Ascent Athlete in Garnet Valley in the discussion.

Ascent has the resources, skill, and passion to help our players improve.  Jeff’s team specializes in developing young athletes by leveraging their collective years of amateur and professional baseball experience and knowledge. The attachment includes details on the services that will be provided by Ascent and registration for the first wave of offerings in the Flanigan Center will be available shortly. These programs are open to NELL families exclusively for our rising 7 to 12 year olds (next year’s Farm, Minor, and Major divisions).

There’s more to come as we collaborate with the Ascent Athlete team, but we hope you consider taking advantage of these initial offseason opportunities.
